The last two weekends of the Summer have resulted in some great
skiing at both the Diablo Shores Pro- Am, in Brentwood, CA and the
Malibu Pro Tour Stop in Abbotsford, BC.
I want to say "Thank you!" to the event organizers and officials
for hosting these two fabulous events.
ABBOTSFORD, BC - Dave Miller (CAN) announced that he is turning
PRO and will ski against the World's best 36 mph skiers in 2010.
At 48 years old, Dave Miller is the first skier to move from
the Masters Men's to the Open Men's slalom division. Dave Miller
set the 34mph (55kph) World Record in June by skiing 4 buoys at
41' off.
"I will plan to ski Open Men's for the next two years.", said
Dave Miller. "The Canadian Team has said that I will compete with
them at the 2011 Worlds in Russia.", Miller continues. "I was
surprised how quickly I adapted to 36mph. I only skied 5 practice
sets before the Abbotsford Pro Stop and I have skied as deep as 5
buoys @ 39-1/2' off (10.75m). I was very pleased to ski 3 buoys @
39-1/2' off (10.75m) here this weekend to finsh in 7th place after
the first round.", concludes Miller.

here at Diablo Shores is just fantastic.", continues Goode.

for the 'long- haul' and there are no expectations. I look forward
to working with Chris in the years to come to see how far we can
help take him down the line.", concludes Goode.
