GOODE TO ANNOUNCE NEW SKI AT NATIONALS
3-2-1 LAUNCH! GOODE is making a special "Pre- National" announcement to all National competitors that they will be announcing a new ski, the 9800SL, at the opening day of the 2007 GOODE Water Ski National Championships, in Bakersfield, CA.
The "SL Series" Asymmetric Series from GOODE features three skis, each designed for a specific skier, Right-Foot Forward, Left-Foot Forward and Neutral. The unique Pure Carbon Fiber construction of each SL ski compensates for the flex and torsional differences introduced by different skiing styles and virtually removes the idea of an "Off-Side" turn. The overall weight of the SL Asymmetric Series is 1/4 pound lighter than the already featherweight GOODE 9800.
"Earlier this year, I skied a prototype of the 9800SL in a Record Tournament and skied the best I have since 2002, and it was my second "best-ever" record tournament score, 1 @ 39-1/2'.", said Dave Goode, President/Founder of GOODE Ski Technologies. "The 9800SL has help me and I'd like to show you what it can do for you.", Goode adds.
The 9800SL will officially be announced on August 13, 2007 to the general public. National Competitor Advance orders for the 9800SL are now being accepted and the skis will be shipped in the order they were received.
US NATIONALS QUALIFYING CLARIFICATION
Qualification for the 2007 GOODE Water Ski National Championships, will be based on ratings, not the new national rankings list.
In an effort to streamline the registration process for the 2007 GOODE Water Ski National Championships, USA Water Ski is offering Online Registration. The program, developed by USA Water Ski member Mark Crone, automatically verifies skier qualification scores and allows skiers to enter the tournament, pay their entry fees, and complete their skier biography online with ease. 2007 SKI ODYSSEY CONTEST CONTINUES
Don't forget to register for the 2007 SKI ODYSSEY CONTEST! Grand Prize is a fun filled water ski adventure vacation for 2 in Costa Rica.
A random drawing will be held at the 2007 GOODE Water Ski Nationals, in Bakersfield, CA, Saturday, August 18th at 9:00am. You need not be present to win.

GOODE NATIONALS TO BEGIN AUGUST 13th!
The 65th annual GOODE Water Ski National Championships, will be held Aug. 13-18 at Ski West Village near Bakersfield, Calif.
Ski West Village & Paradise Lakes Estates hosted the Nationals for three consecutive years from 1999 to 2001. Ski West Village also played host to the Western Regional Water Ski Championships in 2004 and the Water Ski National Championships in 2006.
"We're very excited that the Water Ski National Championships are coming back to Bakersfield, California, and Ski West Village," said Dave Goode. GOODE has been the proud title sponsor for the past 9 years.
Advancement to the Nationals is earned through exceptional performances during the summer tournament season and by placement at regional championships held in the five USA Water Ski regions in late July. Nearly 1,000 water ski athletes - ages 5 through 94 - from across the United States are expected to compete in 27 age divisions and two Open divisions for titles in slalom, tricks and jumping. Athletes who compete in all three events will be eligible for overall titles.
