Dawn and I competed in our first tournament of the season this past weekend in Elk Grove, CA and were pleased to receive the phone call that Nick Parsons won his first Pro Event in Paris, France.
Water skiing may have originated in the USA, however is loved by many worldwide.

NICK PARSONS WINS PARIS, FRANCE PRO EVENT THOMAS DEGASPERI WINS ITALIAN-CUP MASTERS US NATIONALS QUALIFYING CLARIFICATION 2007 SKI ODYSSEY CONTEST CONTINUES
THOMAS DEGASPERI WINS ITALIAN-CUP MASTERS GOODE sponsored skier, Thomas Degasperi, from Trento, Italy, won the Italian-Cup Masters which concluded June 24, 2007. Thomas ran 4 buoys at 41'off to win.
Thomas is skiing on his new GOODE 9800 with PowerShell Boots. He is currently ranked #1 on the World Standings List.
US NATIONALS QUALIFYING CLARIFICATION Qualification for the 2007 GOODE Water Ski National Championships, will be based on ratings, not the new national rankings list.
In an effort to streamline the registration process for the 2007 GOODE Water Ski National Championships, USA Water Ski is offering Online Registration. The program, developed by USA Water Ski member Mark Crone, automatically verifies skier qualification scores and allows skiers to enter the tournament, pay their entry fees, and complete their skier biography online with ease. The 65th annual GOODE Water Ski National Championships, will be held Aug. 13-18 at Ski West Village near Bakersfield, CA. Ski West Village & Paradise Lakes Estates hosted the Nationals for three consecutive years from 1999 to 2001. Ski West Village also played host to the Western Regional Water Ski Championships in 2004 and the Water Ski National Championships in 2006.

2007 SKI ODYSSEY CONTEST CONTINUES Don't forget to register for the 2007 SKI ODYSSEY CONTEST! Grand Prize is a fun filled water ski adventure vacation for 2 in Costa Rica.
"This past weekend, I skied with last year's winner, Tim Duke", said Dave Goode. "Tim and Rita were so excited about going to Costa Rica that they are going to return this year with their whole family!"
A random drawing will be held at the 2007 GOODE Water Ski Nationals, in Bakersfield, CA, Saturday, August 18th at 9:00am. You need not be present to win.
NICK PARSONS WINS PARIS, FRANCE PRO EVENT Nick Parsons, from Bountiful, Utah, won the Ski West Pro/Am water ski tournament in Paris, France yesterday. This milestone marks Nick's first ever Pro victory. The Ski West Pro/Am event draws most the world's best skiers together as they prepare for next weekend's Malibu Open in Bordeaux, France.
"Nick is an extremely talented skier", said Dave Goode. "At 6'5" and 205 lbs, he has the perfect build for a water skier. His technique is sound. I have enjoyed working closely with Nick in getting his GOODE ski and PowerShell Boots working to fit his style.", Goode continues. "Nick sounded really excited and said that he won $5,000.00 and a "bunch" of Christian Dior stuff. I am really happy for Nick.", Goode concludes.
