Dear Dave,
Winter is in full swing here in Ogden. An article below hightlights
The SCOOP, the newest addition to the GOODE Snow Ski lineup. I was
recently able to break away from the office and take a few runs on The
SCOOP in some fresh powder. It was truly awesome.
I know that I have been able to enjoy some great skiing already this
season. I hope that each of you will get a chance to enjoy the our
sport.

BERGOUST EXCELLS WITH NEW JUMP SKIS |

Eric Bergoust, US Freestyle Ski Team Aerialist and '98 Olympic Gold
Medalist, placed fourth at the US Olympic Trials while using the new
GOODE Carbon Fiber Jump Skis.
"This is a truly awesome accomplishment for Eric, as well as for
GOODE. Eric is a talented, driven aerialist. I am looking forward to
watching him at the Olympics." said Dave Goode.

GOODE INTRODUCES THE SCOOP |

The "Grand-Daddy" of the new GOODE Big Mountain/Freeride skis is the
SCOOP. I designed the SCOOP to work much like our water ski does on
water. You will notice a similar reverse sidecut design. We skied
the first pair of SCOOPs that came out of the mold and --- WOW!
Although we only had 8" of fresh snow, the SCOOPs were amazing.
Our head ski builder, Oliver Zeh, commented that "This was the
most fun I have EVER had skiing powder! These are carving skis in
powder!". Sponsored extreme skier, Rob Holmes, commented, "The SCOOP
is amazing! It goes anywhere you want to go! Much better than the
Volant Spatula I had skied in the past!"

GREG HILL JOINS TEAM GOODE |

Greg Hill is one of the world's top backcountry skiers. He is a
fierce competitor, winning the Whistler Rondonnee three years in a
row, and placing in a close second this year. Greg was just named
one of National Geographic Adventure's top 14 adveturers.
Greg is a new additon to Team Goode. After first trying his
GOODE's Greg said, "The first day was great. Skis are amazingly
light on the way up, so light that I can't wait to see where I go on
them. It was only a 6500 ft day but they were amazing. They skied
powerfully, responding when and where I wanted them to."
Dave Goode says, "Greg is a truly elite backcountry skier. I am
excited to watch Greg accomplish great things."

KEARNEY WINS BIG WTH GOODE POLES |

Hannah Kearney, the reigning women's world champion, took first
place in the moguls event at the US Olympic Trials, held in
Steamboat Springs, CO on the 30th of December. With this win Hannah
clenched a spot on the US Olympic Team.
Hannah accomplished this great feat while skiing with GOODE ski
poles. Dave Goode said, "Hannah is certainly one of today's top
mogul skiers. She is a fierce competitor who carries with her a
great determination to do her best."
