Dear Dave,
With autumn here, GOODE is celebrating one of our most successful
waterski seasons in the company's history. We measure our success in
skiers reaching their personal best. I hope you have enjoyed this season
as much as I have.
Fall is a great time to reflect on the past year, set goals for next
year, and to try new equipment. Be sure to let me know how I can help
you.
Thank you for choosing GOODE!

GOODE DENALI EXPEDITION |
 |
GOODE C95 snow skis recently accompanied Seth Anderson and Dirk
Anderson of LOKI Outerwear on an expedition to Denali. Denali
National Park is home to Mt. McKinley, the largest mountain in North
America. The GOODE C95 snow skis were put to the test in rough, icy
terrain. The skis were taken on the expedition to be used to ski
from the summit. This proved to be a wild adventure.
In an excerpt from Seth Anderson's diary, Seth told of the
expedition's "GOODE skiing." Seth wrote, "During our two weeks of
acclimatization we made a cache of food and fuel at 16,400 on the
upper ridge and skied back. This is the highest elevation that Dirk
and I have skied from. We skied nearly every day above camp and had
dry light powder replenished nightly. We had tested some advanced
Carbon based ski technology from Goode Skis. Dirk and I used the
Goode C80 (80cm at the waist.) The skis were fascinating to all who
actually touched them; they look like monsters but weigh about the
same as XC skinny skis. I recommend skiing (especially on Goodes!)
to anyone on Denali, just be sure to tie two accessory cords
horizontally across the bottom of the sled or you will suffer and
cry the whole way down (or half the way down like me.)"
On the LOKI Denali Expedition, the GOODE skis caught the
attention of Summit Canyon employees in Grand Junction, the
"mounting Guru" Steve de Campo in Glenwood springs, and many
international expedition parties. Watch for GOODE snow skis to hit
the slopes near you soon!
