GOODE
Begins Producing New Line of
Carbon Composite Snow Skis

Waterford, MI, October 11, 2002—GOODE Ski Technologies, the
world’s largest manufacturer of composite ski poles and carbon
composite water skis, today announced production has begun on its new
line of carbon composite snow skis.
"For a long time, I’ve dreamt about producing snow skis
again. Then about a year ago, we were fortunate enough to have the
opportunity to purchase state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment.
Today, my dream of building a new generation of carbon composite snow
skis became a reality, as the first pair was molded. We’re excited
to be building a unique snow ski here in Waterford, Michigan. It’s
lighter, more powerful, and easier to turn," explains president
and founder Dave Goode.
GOODE’s first model, the "GOODE Carbon" is an
all-mountain ski available in three lengths: 155cm, 165cm, and 175cm.
The ski (109/68/98mm) will be available in two flexes- medium and
firm. The MSRP is $790.00.
Adds Goode, "This isn’t a mass-produced ski. Our carbon
composite skis require a longer molding cycle, and are layed-up one
pair at a time. They need to be hand finished. We’ve had to reinvent
the way snow skis are designed and manufactured, much like we did with
our carbon tournament water skis. I’m ecstatic with the resulting
product. We tested our new skis in North America, South America, and
Europe. They exemplify performance, and are just plain fun to
ski."

NEW GOODE
9500 DUBBED "BREAKTHROUGH
SKI"

While the newest world-class, carbon
composite slalom ski- the GOODE 9500 has only been in production since
early August, it is already creating quite a stir. First some members
of the test team claimed it was a "breakthrough ski", now
many customers are in agreement. Pro skier Mike Morgan jumped on a
9500 just days before the US Open, and earned third place. Jeff
Rodgers ran 4@41' off in Charleston, SC, on
October 12, 2002 after only being on the 9500 for one week!
Explains Rick Door,
"The 9500 improved my personal best by 1 ½ buoys right out of
the box. And I set my PB almost 2 years ago. I haven’t changed my
skiing. It wasn’t me, it’s the ski."

Here’s some more information on our latest
model:
- What is the difference between the GOODE 9400
and the new GOODE 9500?
The 9500 has the same aerospace grade carbon and
core as the 9400, but has a different flex/torsion ratio. The
difference is in the ski’s lay-up.
- In terms of performance, what might a skier
expect with the new flex/torsion ratio?
The new 9500 (9534 & 9536) will turn with
much less effort. The turning characteristics of this model have been
greatly enhanced, while still retaining the performance attributes of
all GOODE water skis:
- Great Acceleration/Quickness
- Great Deceleration
- Better Angle Behind the Boat
- World’s Lightest Ski- Quicker from Edge
to Edge
- Ski Wide Around Ball/Buoy
- When was the new GOODE 9500 introduced?
The 9500 was introduced at the "2002 GOODE
Water Ski National Championships" near Houston, Texas- August
13-17th.
- What is the price of the GOODE 9500?
A blank 9500 is $890.00. This price includes the
precision adjustable fin box, 5 hole standard fin and wing. We are
still offering the $25.00 demo/trial program. Call 1-888-464-6633 for
