Director of
Skiing: Chris Rossi
A native of Vermont, Chris
began water skiing at the age of seven. In 1989, he won
the US Nationals in the Jr. Boys Division and took 5th
place in 1992. At the 98 US Nationals he was second
in Mens 1 slalom. Chris actually tied for first
place, but lost in a run-off. In Bakersfield, CA, at the
99 US Nationals, he earned another second place
medal in Mens 1 Division. Chris is currently ranked
20th in the world with an average of 1 buoys @
41 off and competes on the US Pro Water Ski Tour. A
member of "TEAM GOODE", he recently skied his
personal best--1 buoy at 41 off in two record
tournaments.

Chris is a graduate of the
University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando. He skied
for UCF for four years, and took 4th place in
the Collegiate All-Stars in 1995.

He has skied in every
Nationals since 1989. Chriss accomplishments as a
competitive skier are very impressive, and so too are his
coaching skills. Under the guidance of former director
Steve Schnitzer, Chris has been a coach at the GOODE
Technology Center (GTC) in Orlando, Florida since it
opened in January of 1998. Visitors to the GTC have
praised his excellent communication skills, patience, and
knowledge of slalom technique to improve their skiing.
